Ravi, au bout de deux morceaux, je trouve ça d'un chiant... visuellement (en vidéo) ça passe encore, mais sinon... du coup j'ai pas trop de conseils à te donner.

Debashish announces the titles of the pieces but I couldn't understand them. This was an evening concert in a small room that seated about 50 people. The concert was the culmination of a day of workshops that Debashish had given about Indian music.
1750 Arch St. was the former location of 1750 Arch Studio, where the first David Grisman Quintet album was recorded in 1976 (Kaleidescope Records K-5)
This is meditative music that deserves to listened to with concentration, not as background music. In terms of recording quality, I consider it stunning. I suggest that you isten to it over your best playback system and when you can listen to at least an entire cd in a single sitting.
Included in the torrent are a pdf cd booklet and cd tray, jpg full-face cd art, and photos from the show, all by Easy Ed.

"In India 'Chatu' means 4 (four), and 'Ang' means attribute. Chaturangui means a Guitar with additional blend of four tones. This is a 24 stringed first hollow neck Indian Classical Guitar. It blends the tone of Rudra Veena, Sarode, Sitar and Violin. All the Classical guitars of Debashish have Front Chikari and are being played by index not with a thumb. There is one western version of this guitar and one Indian model.
The Ghamdavri is a fourteen-string guitar, simply different from it's other family members. This is a completely new tone that has been created by Debashish. The tone is cosmic. Gandharvi relates the music with Gandharva loka. The sound of this unique Guitar portrays the beauty of the Goddess of the Gandharva. The blend of the instruments are in particular South Indian Veena, Santoor and Western Classical Guitar.
The third is the slide form of an Ukulele. After a serious raga rendition Debashish has been often asked by audiences in his country and abroad for a lighter form of music. For their entertainment here is the exotic sound to cast a cathartic effect. ANANDI signifies 'Always Joy of Music."
